This year, in our second Summer Sculpture Show on our Terrace, we are delighted to showcase new works by ceramicist Karen Edwards. Karen has been a full-time potter since 2005 and her work combines interests in plants, landscape and clay. She aims to make pieces that harmonise with outdoor settings, providing a visual focus throughout the year. Sizes vary from tiny pebbles to sculptural forms, all of which are handbuilt by Karen utilising a broad variety of techniques and textures. Colour is applied after the first firing, occasionally working with an underglaze, and the high temperature of the second firing vitrifies the clay so that the pieces can be left outside all year.

This exhibition is free entry, open 10am-6pm daily.
