Rupert Kirkwood has clocked up nearly 20,000 paddling miles over the last 15 years, and claims to be the only person to have kayaked every inch of the coast of SW England, from Poole to Minehead (all 1156 miles of it). He frequently ventures a dozen miles offshore and encounters a huge range of sea wildlife.
