Novel Nights is a monthly literary event with guest speakers and readings by local talent. We provide literary chat, stories, discussion and inspiration for writers and readers.

This month, Novel Nights welcomes Gavin James Bower, a writer, lecturer and editor. He is currently developing two scriptwriting projects for television, writing a memoir and researching as a PhD student at Bath Spa University, where he also teaches in Creative Writing.

His debut novel Dazed & Aroused was published in 2009 and Made in Britain, which follows three teenagers in the recession-hit North, in 2011.
