Shallow Roots play danceable music with influences of Spanish folk, African pop, Latin and even western pop. The combination of soprano and tenor saxes with two guitars, vocals and percussion makes music which is intimate and gentle but with infectious rhythms for dancing. Canela are a Flamenco trio comprising guitarist, percussionist/vocalist and dancer. Infectious rhythms of Andalucia with stunning dancing. Rosalind Moreno-Parra sings a passionate fusion of Ladino, Latino, Tango & Spanish folk. With powerful, haunting melodies, in this duo she is with Rob Vasey on guitar.
