Publishing Director, Sharmaine Lovegrove will talk about the path to publishing, how to find an agent, how to submit fiction and non-fiction and how to manage your expectations as a writer.

Dialogue Books has established itself as THE home of voices often excluded from the mainstream and it offers a wealth of stories written by and about members of the LGBTQI+, disability, working class and BAME communities.

Sharmaine has worked in publishing all her life, selling books on a London market stall and an English-language bookshop in Berlin. She founded a literary scouting company, was the literary editor at Elle and now spearheads Dialogue Books, an imprint of Little Brown Books.
