With live music and poetry from some fantastic talent from the South West, it’s shaping up to be a must-see event on the Music and Poetry calendar.
Each performer will provide 4 or 5 minutes of their latest work.
Arrive at The Square Club for 19:30 for the event starting at 20:00. Drinks are available all evening from our lower deck cocktail bar.
General tickets are £5, and this is to be paid on the door in cash.

Dominic Fisher
Poet Dominic Fisher is a former co-editor of Raceme magazine and widely published writer. His second collection was released by Shoestring Press in 2022, and his pamphlet Migrations won the Blueprint Poetry Press competition in 2025. He lives in Horfield, where he shares an allotment with sparrows and foxes.
Martin Rieser
Martin Rieser is a poet and visual artist whose interactive poetry installations have been exhibited internationally, from Japan and Milan to Melbourne and New York. Alongside his writing and digital artworks, he runs the Stanza poetry group in Bristol.
Deborah Harvey
Bristol poet Deborah Harvey is co-founder of The Leaping Word poetry consultancy and an MA graduate of Manchester Writing School. Her sixth collection, Love the Albatross, was published in 2024, and her work has appeared widely in print and on BBC Radio 4’s Poetry Please.
Guy Calhoun
Bristol singer-songwriter and guitarist Guy Calhoun blends folk, soul, jazz and reggae influences into his distinctive acoustic sound. A former Glastonbury Festival performer at just 15, he has collaborated with artists across the musical spectrum and had his music played by DJs from John Peel to Don Letts.
