Ekphrastic fantastic is a vibrant collection of poems by Tim Burroughs inspired by the work of other artists – poets, writers, playwrights, painters, sculptors, musicians, composers, songwriters and a dancer.

From Aeschylus to Shakespeare, Bessie Smith to Bob Dylan, Caravaggio to Picasso, Leonard Cohen to Shostakovich, Pablo Neruda to ee Cummings.

Bristol poet Tim has been writing since school. He has published two of his own collections, and put his poems to his own music. He has been published in many local anthologies (including the Lansdown poets and recently Walking Words). He hosts the Riff Corner Poetry night and co-hosts the Berkeley Square Poetry Revue, and has hosted events for local literary festivals. He has read regularly on BCFM radio and BBC Radio Bristol. He regularly performs on the local poetry scene.
