Bristol’s very own poetry revue invites the region’s wordsmiths to perform in our quirky cocktail bar. This month featuring three excellent poets – David Johnson, Pameli Benham and Mary Lambert – and the superb singer-songwriter Paul Bradley.
Keynsham-based Mary Lambert helps run two poetry groups ASP Poetry Circle and Bristol Poetry Unlimited. When inspiration for poetry arrives she writes in an attractive lucid style.
David Johnson is a witty performance poet, who has featured at numerous festivals in the UK and North America. He has written for and performed on BBC Radio 4, 4 Extra and BBC Bristol.
Pameli Benham is an actor, director and writer. On screen she often plays dazed and confused, but she’s bolder in real life. Her collection Plentiful As Blackberries has raised over £4,000 for WaterAid.
Paul Bradley is a spontaneous composer-author, guitarist, singer and live producer. Based in the Bristol-Bath region, he has also performed internationally, and throughout the U.K.
